SPIDER CHAIR

INSPIRATION:

Spider web looks random, but it actually has organic rules to make it lighter, stronger, and even artistic.

 

DESIGN:

Spider chair is one hand-made 1:1 chair prototype inspired by a spider web. Certain points tend to be influenced by other points; certain lines tend to be influenced by other lines. Spider chair is not only one chair but also one strong organic structure connecting points, lines, and surfaces.

 

The frame structure was made of steel, and one 'spider' web was made of points and lines. The chair is surprisingly comfortable.
